Smog
This design thesis takes form as a simulated weather event in the City of London and operates as a new digital public platform. Users at home are virtually projected onto the physical smog extending the private domain into the public.
Smog is an imagistic augmentation of the skyline and a new immaterial public infrastructure. The spectacle seeks to capture uncanny relationships between the corporate, virtual and haptic and blurs distinctions between private and public space.
